In Hollywood Cemetery, the grave site, name and person, Mary W. Goodwin Atkinson (1882-1906) evokes very special feelings and profound impressions we do not yet understand.

Mary married Dr. Henry D. Atkinson (1871-1902) and was the daughter-in-law of Virginia State Senator Henry A. Atkinson II (5/2/1845-5/29/1914). She died in her 24th year of tuberculosis. The Atkinson family lived in the Fairfield District, Henrico County, Virginia.
