Reported events at the trial of Aaron Burr for the New York Press at the Virginia State Capitol Building in 1804.

He is best known for 'The Legend of Sleepy Hollow,' in which the schoolmaster Ichabold Crane meets with a headless horseman, and 'Rip Van Winkle,' about a man who falls asleep for 20 years.

Robert Lee Frost
born San Francisco, Mar. 26, 1874
died Boston, Jan. 29, 1963

One of America's leading 20th-century poets and a four-time winner of the Pulitzer Prize. In 1946, Mr. Frost visited his friend Dr. Douglas Southall Freeman in Richmond and made his first radio broadcast over WRNL from 3rd floor studios in Dr. Freeman's home. Recording survived.
